Japanese Techno Producer based in Tokyo. He performs Live PA, and DJ. He has been releasing 12 inch from the labels such as ‘Hardsignal’, ‘Tremors’ since 2006. In 2007, he released 2 EPs from Luke Slater’s labal ‘Mote-Evolver’. In 2008, he released two 12 inch vinyls from Alex Bau’s label ‘Kumo’, and released? tracks from Francois K.’s ‘Wave Tec’. Then, also in 2008, he released ‘Battry EP’ from ‘Figure’ the label of Len Faki who is the resident DJ of the best club in the world, Berghain. This EP has been played by many top DJs around the world.??? In 2009, ‘Black Out EP’ on ‘Figure’ received great response from all over the world. Also, in 2009, he worked on remixes for Len Faki’s ‘Death By House’ and this remix was released on Sven Vath’s ‘Cocoon Recordings’. In 2010, he released the first album ‘Primordial-Soup’ on ‘Figure’. This album received good reviews. In 2011, he received the offer to remix System 7’s ‘Positive Noise’ (A-Wave) along with Carl Craig. There are original tracks coming up from great labels such as ‘Figure’. He is now ‘Unstoppable’. As mentioned, he works on many remixes, too. In addition to remixes on ‘Cocoon Recording’ and ‘A-Wave’, there are releases on various labels such as Dubfire’s ‘Sci-Tec’, ‘Figure’. A. Mochi has released more than ten 12 inches original and remixes combined so far. Also, he has worked on Chris Liebing’s ‘CLR Podcast’. He is one of the few artists from Japan who receives attentions from techno scene around the world. His signature ‘Strong and Fat’ sound has been supported by world-class DJs and getting positive responses. In 2010, he performed at WIRE festival which is organized by Takkyu Ishino. He showed great performance in front of huge audience. Then, he went on to the first tour in Europe and played at Berghain in Berlin, Nordik Impakt in France and so on. In 2011, he peformed at Solar Weekened Festival in Netherland. He plays many gigs in Japan and overseas. A. Mochi is the Japanese producer who makes the sound of today in the world of techno and shaking the scenes around the world.? You won’t regret remembering his name.

東京を拠点に、ライブアクトやDJとして活動する日本人テクノ・プロデューサー。
2006 年より「Hardsignal」、「Tremors」などからコンスタントに12インチのリリースを重ね、2007年にはLuke Slaterのレーベル「Mote-Evolver」から2作品をリリース。2008年にはAlex Bauのレーベル「Kumo」より2枚の12インチをリリースした他、Francois K.のレーベル「WaveTec」からリリースした後、2008年10月には、現在、世界で最高のクラブと称されるBerghain（ベルクハイン）のレジデントDJ、Len Fakiのレーベル「Figure」からリリースした「Battry EP」が数々の第一線のDJ達にプレイされ話題となる。
2009年にFigureからリリースした「Black Out EP」はワールドワイドで好セールスを記録。同年、Len Fakiのヒット曲”Death By House”のリミックスを手掛け、Sven Vathの「Cocoon Recordings」からリリースされた。2010年にはファーストアルバム「Primordial-Soup」をFigure(日本盤CDはMusicMineより)からリリースし高い評価を得る。翌2011年にはSystem7のアルバム「Up」の先行シングル「PositiveNoise」のリミキサーとしてCarl Craigと共に起用され「A-Wave」よりリリースされた他、Figure、Yoshitoshi、Trapez等からオリジナル、Remixのリリースを予定しているなどその快進撃は続いている。リミックス音源も多く、Cocoon、A-Waveの他にもDubfire (Deep Dish)のレーベル「SCI+TEC」や「Figure」「Craft Music」からも彼のリミックス音源がリリースされており、オリジナルも含め、今までに10枚を超える12インチをリリースしている。他にもChris Liebingのレーベル「CLR」のポッドキャストにミックスを提供するなど、常に海外からの高い注目を集めている。
トレードマークでもある力強い重厚な楽曲はワールドクラスの錚々たるアーティストにプレイサポートされ、高い評価を得ている。2010年には石野卓球がオーガナイズする「WIRE10」に出演を果たし堂々のパフォーマンスを見せ、初のヨーロッパツアー（ベルリンのBerghain、フランスのフェス「Nordik Impakt」にも出演する）を行い、2011年も国内はもとよりオランダの「Solar Weekend Festival」へ出演するなど海外での活動も精力的に行っている。今現在、一番リアルタイムなテクノを作り出し、世界のシーンを揺さぶることができる日本人プロデューサー、A.Mochi。その名を覚えておいて、損はないだろう。
